What We Do

Our Mission

Hope Heals provides support to families in need, with an overall goal of spreading Hope, Love, and Kindness, to everyone, everywhere.

Sonbrige donated 25 bags of clothes to Hope Heals. We had an abundance of clothing, so we passed them on to the local Salvation Army.

Values

  • Creating hope in our community.

  • Respecting everyone, no matter where they live or who they are.

  • Providing for those who are less fortunate than ourselves.

  • Giving back to others.

  • Keeping our resources in our local community.

  • Improving myself & empowering others to do the same.

  • Having gratitude. - A readiness to be thankful, show appreciation, and return kindness.

Care Packages

Hope Heals’ primary service is giving out move-in care packages to those who were homeless and have just gotten housing for the first time. We provide the basic essentials they need to live, clean, cook, and sleep.

Basics Bags

We provide bags/backpacks with toiletries and clothes for people who are currently homeless.

Camp Closet

Clothes donated to Hope Heals are brought to the Walla Walla Alliance Homeless Camp and are distributed to those in need twice a week on shower days.

Future Goals

My goal is to someday have a building where we have a day center, donation processing center, and warehouse all in one. The day center would have lockers, showers, a cafeteria, basic needs rooms, and resource center for homeless people to come in and get help. The processing center would include washers & dryers and a facility to clean and process incoming donations. The warehouse would have storage for furniture and donations, as well as a paint station where we can refurbish used furniture.

This building is needed because we need to show the homeless community that they are valued and important. This will help homeless people stay out of the elements, as well as give them the help they need to move on to the next chapter of their lives.
